Services/Location
Trout Guides of Central Pennsylvania
offers access to the finest trout streams in the best location east
of the Rocky Mountains—Central Pennsylvania.
Boasting crystal clear freestone streams to the
north and extraordinary limestone streams to the south, fishermen
will be guided to the most productive of these waters. From legendary
Spring Creek to Potter County's Kettle
Creek, from the home of a state record brown trout Fishing
Creek to the big woods of the Sinnemahoning—and
to the backwoods for loads of natives where few other fishermen
go—we'll guide you to the trout you want to find.
TGCP is owned and operated by renowned spinner fishing
expert Jeff Deitrich, author of Spinner
Fishing for Trout and Our
Paradise. His guide service specializes in the most productive
method of catching trout—spinner fishing. We do not teach
or practice fly fishing, because it is not as productive, but all
fishermen are welcome.
Expectations
Expect to fish hard. Rise before dawn and hit the
streams before other fishermen, if that is your wish. Your guide
will be happy to fish from sun up to sun down and even without stopping
for meals. Our philosophy is: Keep moving until you find biting
trout!
Space is limited for each season, so
book your adventure soon!
TGCP is located at 724 S. Allen Street, State College,
PA 16801. For directions to State College from your location, visit
